Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from a reputable college or university
Required Experience: 1 or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of
education and experience
Summary of Tasks:
Includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Be responsible for the central administration of recruitment and selection process to appointment.
Monitoring of applications received distribution of received application forms to service areas
ensuring relevant employment checks are completed, confirmation of employment offer.
Produce documentation associated with appointments, including generation of contractual documents.
Produce and check correspondence in relation to changes of employee terms and conditions of
employment and interface with Payroll Services on changes to salaries, wages and associated matters in
relation to all Human Resources issues.
Create and maintain employee records in both the manual filing system and on computerized Personnel
and Time Information System.
Deal with straightforward personnel queries from managers and employees including provision of basic
advice on terms and conditions of employment and on the application of appropriate policies and
Maintain an up to date knowledge of personnel policies, procedures and principles to ensure
appropriate advice is given to employees and managers.
Monitoring the sickness records particularly with regard to triggers and maintenance of the occupational
health service diary.
Be actively involved in continuous improvement projects, team meetings and training as required.
